Free MoneySupermarket Car Insurance Comparison App
It feels as though there is an app for everything nowadays but up until now the price comparison market has had a rather lacklustre presence.
This is no longer the case, as you can now compare car insurance quotes on the move as well thanks to UK based price comparison company MoneySupermarket.com.
The app, which can be downloaded for free from either the MoneySupermarket website or iTunes, compares quotes available through over 100 different car insurance companies in just three clicks; saving motorists a significant amount of time each year whenever their renewals are due. The company claims that the average motorist would shave £375 off the cost of their premiums by utilising the app.
MoneySupermarket teamed up with award winning mobile communications firm Mobile Interactive Group (MIG) to develop the app which is available free of charge to all iPhone or iPad owners.
Although Apple products currently hold most of the market share, it is rumoured that a version of the app which is compatible with android phones will be launched at some point over the course of 2012. We would therefore advise android phone owners to keep their eyes peeled on developments if they are keen on getting their hands on this nifty piece of software which won The Guardian’s Consumer App of the Week award upon its launch.
